Dinner with Ease


I found this delicious recipe on Pinterest and have made it for a wine night recently.  If you click on the link there is a video on how to make this dinner and you will be shocked at how simple it is.  There are a few notes so read on and get to cooking!

Easy Chicken Parm Bake

Foodwishes Chicken Parm Bake

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • hot red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 5-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (Pound thin or cut into small chunks)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil
  • 8 oz mozzarella, shredded
  • 4 oz Parmesan, grated
  • 1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons



Preheat oven to 350°.  Coat bottom of 9×13 casserole dish with olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes.  Layer in this order:  chicken breasts (or pieces), marinara sauce, chopped basil, 4 oz mozzarella, 2 oz parmesan, croutons, remaining 4 oz mozzarella, and 2 oz parmesan.  Bake for 35 minutes uncovered.



I used 5 HUGE whole chicken breasts and they were under cooked after 35 minutes.  I suggest cut breasts in half, into pieces, or pound thin.
