Make Ahead Coffee Cake

Mariann P. is doing a great job of sending me her friends recipes and so far they all look fantastic.  This is a make ahead coffee cake from Karen S.  It look super simple and it sounds like it tastes delicious.  This would be a great food item contribution if you are going to someone’s house at Christmas time.  Enjoy!

 

Stay Up All Night Coffee Cake

  • 3/4 c chopped pecans
  • 1 (12 to 16 oz.) pkg. frozen Parker House rolls
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

 

Preparation:

Sprinkle nuts into bottom of greased bundt pan. Arrange rolls evenly over the nuts.  Sprinkle dry pudding mix over the rolls.  Combine the melted butter, brown sugar & cinnamon in a bowl and mix well.  Spoon over the rolls covering completely.  Cover the bundt pan w/plastic wrap and place in a cold oven overnight.

Remove pan from oven & plastic wrap.  Preheat oven to 350.  Place pan in oven and bake for 25 min.  Approx. 16 servings.
