I didn’t even need to come up with a special name for this recipe. My mom is doing a fantastic job of e-mailing me her friends recipes and if I were quicker posting them we would have thousands of delicious food to look at, but sadly I am slow. Here is one from her friend Tammy and I am so excited to bake this cake this weekend!
Kill Me Chocolate Cake
- 1 Lg instant vanilla pudding (going to use dry)
- 1 Devil’s Food Cake Mix w/ pudding in the mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. of vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. strong coffee (do this first so it cools)
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 Lg. bag of chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all ingredients in order listed (be sure coffee is cool or it will cook the eggs)
(Mix well but do not beat with mixer)
Spray a bundt pan with the baking formula of PAM Baking Spray (it has flour in the mix). Pour batter evenly in pan and bake 65 minutes.
Pull out of oven and let cool 20 minutes on a wire rack. After 20 minutes turn over and continue to cool 15-20 minutes more.
It should slide right out.
Now the key is you can’t cut it until the next day!!!
Slice the next day and enjoy plain or dress it with strawberries and whip cream.
