Kim’s Baked Ziti
- 1 box ziti (I substitute Whole Wheat)
- 8 oz ricotta
- 1 bag shredded mozzarella
- 1 jar of favorite pasta sauce (I enjoy ones with Italian herbs already blended in)
- grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400°
Cook ziti according to box. Drain pasta and add back into the pot. Mix in ricotta, pasta sauce, and 1/2 the bag of mozzarella.
Stir well and place in a 9×13 baking dish or casserole pan. Cover with remaining mozzarella and some parm.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 min. Uncover and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes more (until cheese is melted).
You can add ground beef or turkey for meat lovers just buy extra pasta sauce to throw in the pot.
